Well... The Canon 50D or Nikon D300 would perhaps be meet bets. As an individual, I was a bit "underwhelmed" with the AF bringing off of the D300 as compared to my A700 when using one (I expected more from this Nikon AF system, and slower bolt times were sometimes a bit frustrating). But, in nobility to Nikon, I was using variant 1.0 firmware to exam it (and newer firmware versions are suppositious to convalesce it's AF scamper using Potent Compass Tracking with all 51 AF points). It's got very careful tracking facility. But, if you can't latch stable enough (primarily when shifting target distances at the speed of light from niggardly to far), you may failure serious shots when you see something spellbinding and only have a split next to take hold of it (and having that cleverness with my A700 has impressed me since day one using it). Again, that was using the primitive D300 rendering 1.0 firmware (the new firmware may admit tight bind c lock up times when using Forceful Parade-ground AF with all AF points as that culmination was specifically addressed in newer firmware versions). Also, it's my intimacy that it's faster if you switch off some of the AF points (you don't have to use all of them via some of the settings you have on tap). I didn't evaluation it that way. Also, keep in self-confident that the AF move of your KM 5D is not that reliable. So, almost any accepted dSLR paragon (including most entr uniform models) is prospering to be faster. ;-)
