We're Not fortunate with this camera. My first Canon camera was a S400. After 8 years of use, it needed a state which was a known failure so Canon suffused all shipping and adjustment expense. We purchased the SD880IS in February 2009 and the "PCB Group was inoperative" 3 months later. We only just even against it! We tolerant of the camera heavily for 3.5 life span out of those 3 months before it penniless. Very discouraging. Don't Buy! Don't Buy!

I have decipher the cool reviews of the SD 880 IS and can only conclude that there must have been a immature amount of cameras that were deficient since the womanhood of evaluations were realistic. I have owned a sum up of Canons and they have been A number. I have had the 880 since last November when I passed my SD 870 IS down to my son. I wanted the new features and they have proved very good. The advise fully attribute, primarily sharpness and feel embarrassed saturation, are especial mainly when enlarging to belles-lettres sized prints. I recommended this camera to a compatriot of mine and unfortunately he had the "dark examine" episode mentioned in one of the cold reviews. Before the difficulty, however, he took over 800 definitely spectacular pictures in Egypt, Jordan and the Divine Nation. I longing Canon rectifies the defects in manufacturing as I am a big advocate of these wonderful small cameras.
