General Update

Punjab’s kids by this morning

Even several months later, Punjab and her kids regularly stop in their ‘place of origin.’  They’re almost full-sized peafowl now, three boys and two girls.

But that’s not the exclusive objective of this newel. There have been several inquiries about the coast since our last relocation. We’ve been either traveling or employ with indoctrinate activities and shelter’t posted an update lately. Ruggadune is in the same quarters, objective over partially of it was destroyed, but the partly that remains is doing well. Late great in extent tides have not reached to the ‘scarp.’ We do have a TON of seaweed on the margin, so it’s undemanding to path the huge tides. I guess this weekend we’ll be re-locating some of the seaweed to escape the new materialization of much needed dunes.

Kodak DC5000

Also, Don hasn’t found his humble camera since the floods, so he’s not shooting that much. But the old trusty DC5000 has been dusted off and he’s shooting with that now. Don bought his first DC5000 in 2001. It’s a tap water/appal repellent to camera that took a little too much unsettle when it went flying through the hut of their sailboat in 2004 while crossing the James River reasoning. It was replaced by the bedew dilute/shock proof against Olympus brusquely afterwards, but Don missed the  chunky camera. So he bought a new one on E-bay. The autochthonous 2mp camera cost $299. The replacement? $35

It’s a momentous, low-resolve camera that’s masterly for web capabilities. On the added side, it’s delightfully to have a camera that you can wrap your hands around. On the uninterested side, it is big, so you equitable can’t put it into your take.   We still have the Canon for serious aged-exactitude shooting, but we rarely trail it down to the shore or out on boats.
