This camera will beyond break. Nikon will not honor their warranty even if it is within their warranty period. Read my experience, and you'll see.
I bought this camera in December 2009... scarcely ever used it, and stored it in a shockproof case. By July 2010 it was broken.

This camera sucks! The mask died after 10 months. It requires surgeon's hands for the image to fingers on out ok. My daughter hates it. It takes good video. Go for Canon S20 and above in lieu of.
