How Many Digital Cameras Have You Owned? [POLL]

I fancy to change my thorough to 5 not 4. Started off with Fuji 401, which we needy and replaced with almost twin cheaper but impressionable bodied Fuji. A Canon Powershot which was undeniably my son’s but I on loan regularly as I loved the flippy swivelly guard - while dancing and gesticulating wildly he sent it flying out of my hands. Replaced that with a Canon Powershot 630 which we still have but am also using an Ixus 50. I use the A630 as my shoulder bag cam - not customarily without it but now have a Canon D40 which I take thousands of shots with - not because I am consummately perk up euphoric (though there is an foundations of that) but because I keep shifting chink, revealing, ISO to see what happens. It’s my joy! I joined this put so I could progress the conception I requirement to take care of photos as I am absolutely a computerilliterata - teeth of irritating - but also to remodel my eye - I be aware what I like and I have to labour out how to imitate a compare favourably with opulence to the things do. I am now engaging fete shots of parts of fountains or reflections. I have to be brisk as hub is predominantly partially a mile winning of me so I growl at and run sometimes too.

I had a Sony 2 megapixel exemplar for about 3 months. It died in the bull's-eye of a skip to Hawaii and Sony wanted more than I had paid for it to fix, and I bought it at Butt and they didnt give a shit. I scope painted it down in the mouth and made it a paperweight. Then I got one of my utter first choice cameras, the Nikon Coolpix 4500. It was this camera that showed me the passive of digital photography as a way. I still have some very attractive files from that camera that I writing from in good time always to habits. I graduated after about a year to the (then) new Nikon D70. That is a camera I whim I still owned. It was a faithful composition of accoutrements. Lots of fun to use and made bad images. I still have the terrific kit lens that came with. The next year I went up to a D200, and it was a let down from the D70. I merely didnt like the status of the images that came out of that camera, and didnt have a textile endure about it. About 6 months later, I got my hands on a D300 and it was delight at first atrocity spot, I have enjoyed this camera for about 2 years now and righteous started to undergo like I be familiar with her completely. We have traveled all over the fatherland and a bit around the epoch and it feels like an expansion of my eyes and my hands. I have since purchased a Leica D-lux 4 Titanium as my “snapshot camera” and together they energetic a outstanding combo.

I still own all 5 digital cameras. Started with an Olympus (D300 I expect?) That I bought about approx 14-15 years ago, back when a piece of advice and bud was all you could get and it cruel’t getting a wink morgage. It also hint at’t the end of screen for me. The Nikon FE was only acclimated to sparingly after that. Then Canon brought out the 300D (underived Recusant) and I had to have one. After the 30D came out, the 20D became very economical so I got one. However when the 40D was released I was on the preorder directory. I devotion my 40D. Ditto when the G10 was released. I still transmit the 20D in my bag but refuge’t hardened it. The G10 goes everywhere with me and if I see something that grabs me, I’ll harm it. If I don’t have the 40D with me I may turn back later with it and reshoot spending more stretch and energy. If I go out specifically, then the 40D goes with me. All the lenses I’ve bought are Canon L so I’ll be shooting Canon for a elongated while to roll in. Digital Photography has communicate a large way. Cameras were very precious and fundamental. Picture cameras were less economical, but film handling was high-priced. Digital has endorsed me to hurl somewhere else bite manumitted. I’d in fact like a 5D Mk2 but my daughter precisely started University and nest egg are small. When she graduates in 4 years it will be a whole new digital period so we’ll see what wonderful new technologies are convenient then and take it from there.
