Which Point-and-Shoot to Buy?? - Steve's Digicams Forums

I currently have an Olympus FE-230 but demand something with some more pledge. I am currently all things three cameras: the Nikon Coolpix S630, the Sony Cybershot DSC-W290, and the Canon PowerShot SD970IS. I may be likely to wear the crown out the Nikon since the autofocus seems to only indistinct on the gist, leaving the residuum of the pellet is very unfocused, which I in fact do not pine for, even though the Nikon is a very edible looking camera and has the longest zoom out of the three. I have not seen any experience shots on the W290 so I do not be familiar with how the characteristic of the photos is, but CNET says that the camera is kind of dull and the photos can be moderate. I have already looked, and there are no reviews of the W290 on Steve's Digicams. So far, to me, the Canon seems to be the most suitable camera out of the three, with SD celebration which I propose, very wholesome photos on the Steve's Digicams comment, but CNET comments that the lens is rather cloddish. I would not buy for a few months so I do not certain if there are any more new models prospect out from these manufacturers? Thanks for any lift!!
